Dr. Carr was originally from Buffalo, New York and moved with his family to Naples in 1968, graduating from St. Ann elementary school, Naples High School, Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, and received his Doctorate from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. He completed his residency in Podiatric Surgery in Miami, Florida at Westchester General Hospital/ Jackson Memorial Hospital/ and Larkin Hospitals.
Dr. Carr, Jr. joined his father’s practice in 1981 in Naples. He joined the Naples Community Hospital Staff in 1982, and remains an active staff member of the NCH Healthcare System. He has served as the Chief of the Division of Podiatric Surgery for many years, as well as in various hospital committees including Infection Control and Operating Room Committees. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a member of the Collier County Medical Society, Collier County Podiatric Medical Association, and the Florida and American Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Carr has also been active in the community as he tries to give back to the community he cares about. He has served on the Board and as Vice-president of the Collier County Chapter of the American Diabetes Association, served on the School Board of St. Ann School, served on the Naples High School Advisory committee, been a member of the Jaycees, and active in coaching little league sports within the YMCA, Optimist, and Greater Naples Little Leagues in basketball, soccer, and baseball.
Dr. Carr is married to Mary Ann and has three grown children.
Dr. Luthringer was originally from Buffalo, New York, and graduated from D'Youville College in 1985, and received his doctorate from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1992. He completed his residency in Podiatric Surgery at Florida Hospital East Orlando in 1994.
Dr. Luthringer joined Dr. Eugene Carr Jr. in October 1998 after practing in the Orlando area for four years. He joined the Naples Community Hostipal System and remains an active staff member. He has served on the Allied Health Committe at Naples Community Hoastipal, and is currently President of the Collier County Podiatric Medical Assocation.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a member of the Collier County Medical Society, Collier County Podiatric Medical Association, and the Florida and American Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Luthringer has three children in the Collier County Public School System and is an active parent with them in band, sports, and scouting.
